The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) is set to participate in the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2026, taking place from 13 to 15 April 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in South Africa.
Recognised as one of Africa’s leading tourism trade exhibitions, WTM Africa brings together global travel buyers, tourism boards, airlines, tour operators, investors, and media representatives. Namibia’s participation underscores its commitment to strengthening its international presence, expanding market access, and fostering meaningful partnerships within the global tourism sector.
The Namibia Pavilion will host 14 tourism operators and stakeholders, representing a diverse range of offerings including luxury safaris, eco-tourism, cultural experiences, and adventure travel. These industry players will engage in MICE, destination marketing activities, and networking sessions with international buyers and travel professionals.

Alongside these landmarks, the country’s rich heritage and cultural diversity stand out, as does its remarkable desert-adapted wildlife. Just as important, Namibia continues to show a clear, ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and community-driven tourism initiatives.

- Facilitating business partnerships between local operators and international buyers
- Showcasing Namibia’s diverse tourism products to global audiences
- Promoting sustainable tourism and investment opportunitiesIn addition to exhibition activities, NTB will host the “Namibia Event” on 14th April 2026, a dedicated networking platform expected to attract approximately 80 international tour operators and travel professionals, providing an opportunity to showcase Namibia’s unique tourism experiences through presentations, engagement sessions, and promotional activities.Participation in WTM Africa is expected to yield key outcomes, including increased international awareness of Namibia as a destination, new business leads, enhanced regional and global collaborations, and stronger positioning within the African tourism market.
