After a successful 2018 in which VOLVO Cars SA celebrated major wins both locally and internationally, the luxury car brand is kicking off the new year on a high note.
We joined other women and the VOLVO family for breakfast at the Munro Hotel in Houghton to celebrate.
Volvo Cars scooped the biggest award in the Executive SUV category at the cars.co.za Consumer Awards held on the 24 January, at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.    Not new to receiving major nods, the brand’s Volvo XC60 is the current holder of the World Car of the Year and has now won in the Executive SUV category contending against some of South Africa’s top luxury vehicles in the industry such namely, BMW and Audi.
In the finals for these prestigious awards were the Volvo XC40, which was named the Women’s Car of The Year in 2018 as well as finalist in the 2019 AutoTrader South African Car of The Year. It was also a top contender in the Premium Compact category. The Volvo S90 was also a finalist in the Executive Sedan category.
The dress code was White with a touch of Volvo. The women didn’t disappoint. They represented in their white outfits that made them glow the Volvo style.
