It is no secret that Channel 124, once home to E! Entertainment, is no longer the hotspot for everything celebrity and reality entertainment related — and the viewership numbers have started to show this.
MultiChoice has seemingly found a solution by replacing E! Entertainment with one of the biggest global channels for reality television: Bravo, with the introduction of Bravo Africa.
This is a bold yet seemingly right move for MultiChoice. The channel has already started airing past seasons of popular Bravo shows such as The Real Housewives franchises and Below Deck.
With the introduction of Bravo Africa under NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer, the channel will now be the home of both local and international reality entertainment.
This will also include the London edition of The Real Housewives franchise — The Real Housewives of London. The new addition has taken the world by storm since its launch last week. The channel will also feature other popular shows such as Dating #NoFilter South Africa, Below Deck, and The Real Housewives franchises, amongst others.
Bravo Africa officially launches on 7 October on Channel 124, available on DStv Premium, Compact, and Access packages.
