The African film industry has been growing tremendously. One thing for sure, you can not talk about Nollywood and not mention Actor and Model, Alexx Ekubo.
Alexx has been in the industry for over a decade. This week we show him our appreciation. Not only is he talented; he is hot, sexy, charming and a bachelor. Mmmmmh!
He recently celebrated his 33rd birthday, he was born in Abia State in Nigeria on the 10th April 1986. His full name is Alex Ekubo-Okwaraeke. He grew up in Lagos, went to school in Katsina and attended University in Calabar. Oh yes, he is not just a hottie, he has brains too.
He has been juggling modelling and acting and he nails both effortlessly. His acting debut happened back in 2005 when he featured in the film Sinners in the House. 14years later, this actor’s star continues to shine bright on the big screen, tackling different lead roles.
Alexx is also a beast on the runway. He was the 1st runner up at the Mr. Nigeria contest in 2010.
He has awards under his belt too; He won Most Promising Actor at the Best of Nollywood Awards (2012), Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Icons Academy Awards (2013), Best Supporting Actor at the Best of Nollywood Awards (2013). In 2014, he bagged the Favorite Male Emerging Screen Talent (African) Award at the Screen Nation Awards.
Alexx Ekubo is still very much unmarried, we don’t know who he is currently dating BUT, word on the street is that he is dating top model, Fancy Acholonu. She is just as hot as he is.
Top Actor and Top Model, it doesn’t get hotter than that. Imagine their kids? Oh Lord!! We can’t wait to see how this romantic movie turns out. On his birthday, Alexx also announced the launch of his own website www.alexxekubo.com
