The 2022 best woman lawyer in Property and Construction Law winner has once again been acknowledged for her work in the sector. Audrey with a career spanning over 26 years across Government, Private Sector, Academia and most notably her launch of the Audrey Gwangwa Law Academy.

Audrey was awarded for making a lasting impact on conveyancing and inspiring others by the South African Women Lawyers Association. Audrey gushed with excitement “I am honoured to receive the recognition by my peers, a lot of the work we do is selfless, it’s always good to see that the sector is watching and appreciates our efforts”

The academy assists learners working towards their Conveyancing and notary qualifications. This year the Audrey Gwangwa Law Academy had the top student in Limpopo and another in Gauteng achieving 89% in their exam. This on the backdrop of the national pass rate as low as 4%.

About Audrey Gwangwa:
Adv. Audrey Gwangwa has over 25 years experience in the legal space, having held various positions in Deeds offices across the country. Adv. Gwangwa has lectured conveyancing at Law Society of South Africa, Lectured on Property Law at Wits and also reviewd LLB modules for Unisa. The Advocate has contributed to numerous publications on housing, property law and conveyancing. Adv. Gwangwa brings this experience through to the Audrey Gwangwa Law Academy where they offer candidate conveyancers an opportunity to be part of the intriguing world of Conveyancing.
