Pictures: Minnie Dlamini’s Umembeso Ceremony!

Call me Mrs Jones’, is what 27year old South African Radio & TV personality Minnie Dlamini captioned her first image on Instagram the morning after her traditional ceremony (umembeso) which took place this past Saturday in her homeland Durban, South Africa. As Africans, we all have certain traditions that we follow. Umembeso is a ceremony where the groom’s family takes gifts to the bride’s family to thank the mother for raising their soon to be daughter in law.

Minnie Dlamini and Quinton Jones’ white wedding will happen in September and will be exclusively aired by Multichoice. We can’t wait.

Let’s take a look at the pictures from the ceremony that her friends and family shared on social media to celebrate this amazing journey with her.
