Netflix: Blood Legacy set to return for season 2

It seems like Netflix is not letting us breathe even for a second. The latest news from Netflix South Africa is that production has just wrapped on the second season of ‘Blood Legacy’.

The show is produced by Gambit Productions and stars major South African talents such as Xolile Tshabalala and the late Connie Chiume amongst other greats, which left us in a tailspin last year when it wrapped up its first season.

The show also provided roles for upcoming actors such as Unathi Mkhize, Dineo Rasedile and Thabiso Ramotshela. The first season of the show dealt with the ever popular narrative of family feuds and power struggles within the Ndlovu Family.

The drama is a remake of another Netflix series ‘Monarca’ but the end of each thirty minute episode left you speechless. There has not been a date set for the release of the second season but we will be waiting with anticipation.
