Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Crowned Miss Universe 2017!

Yes, Africa we did it! The Miss Universe 2017 crown is indeed in our continent all thanks to South Africa’s Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss Universe 2017 a few hours ago in Las Vegas, in the USA. The 1st runner up went to Colombia’s Laura Gonzalez, and the 2nd runner up crown went to Jamaica’s Davina Bennett.

How beautiful is she?

The crowd’s fav, Jamaica’s Davina Bennett. When the host, Steve Harvey announced her as 2nd runner up the crowd was not impressed. We were also not impressed. She deserved to be the 1st runner up not 2nd. But then again, this always happens to Jamaica. Remember what happened with Kaci Fennell a few years ago? SMH!

Congratulations to our African Queen, Demi Leigh Nel Peters for putting sparks on our continent on that world map. We are shining!
