Lynn Whitfield & Thione Niang to Host African Leaders 4 Change Awards! #ALCA2017

All roads will be leading to Sandton Convention Centre for the first African Leaders 4 Change Awards taking place on the 21st November 2017. #ALCA2017

The event will be hosted by American Actress, Emmy Award winner Lynn Whitfield as well as Thione Niang, who is the CEO of Akon Lighting.

The African Leaders 4 Change Awards will be honoring men and women who are the faces behind initiatives that are making an impact in Africa. Some of the guests that will be attending include Graca Machel, Former President of Tanzania H.E Jakaya Kikwete, Mohammed Dewji, Buti Manamela and Allan Gray Foundation.

There is so much to look forward to on that special night including a live performance from these legendary artists.

  • Yvonne Chaka Chaka – South Africa
  • Youssou Ndour – Senegal
  • 2 Face – Nigeria

The theme song will be choreographed by South African entertainer, Somizi Mhlongo.
