African children keep rising. South African comedian, Trevor Noah is turning his Award winning book ‘Born A Crime’ into a film, and it will star Award winning Actress, Lupita Nyong’o from Kenya. Trevor and Lupita will also Co-Produce the film together.
Lupita is set to play Trevor Noah’s mother, Patricia in the film. We are not sure who will be assigned to Direct the film but all we can say is that; more awards are coming to Lupita and Trevor.
Both stars took to social media to confirm the news in excitement. So much love!! Trevor and Lupita have always been close, they were even rumoured to be dating at some point.
They have love for each other and that makes us Africans, very proud. Africa loving and supporting Africa outside Africa. How amazing is that?
We are looking forward to this Biopic. Now we are all curious to know who else will star in the movie. Who is gonna play the young Trevor Noah? Is Trevor gonna be in the film at all playing himself? Who will play Trevor’s father? Who will play the funny and full of life grandmother? Is Lupita gonna go for Xhosa lessons? All this is keeping us on the edges of our seats. We can’t wait.
