Let’s Take a Trip Around The World!

The world is still in shock about what happened in Britain at the Manchester Arena during USA singer Ariana Grande’s concert. 22 people died and 59 were left injured from what is believed was a terrorist attack. The bombing took place as Ariana was leaving the stage.

The suicide bomber is a 22year old UK born, Salman Abedi whose parents were Libyan refugees. Apparently Salman was seen/heard by neighbours chanting Islamic prayers loudly on the streets weeks before this attack. What really goes on in the mind of these suicide bombers is what I wanna know. Do they drug themselves, are they that brainwashed? To actually commit to killing yourself and innocent people just like that makes no sense at all.

Among those that died is an 8year old girl. Sad!! With that sad, Ariana tweeted an apology even though it wasn’t her fault. I can’t even begin to imagine what she is going through. I don’t know what is more stressful, the fact that you almost died or the fact that people died while at your concert to show you love and support? She has since suspended the rest of her European tour.

More depressing News, we visit the continent of Asia where 4 climbers died while attempting to summit Mount Everest. Every year people die on these mountains and I am still trying to understand what will it take for us to stay away from them because they are taking people’s lives? Do we really have to do this? 3 climbers died over the weekend, 1 Indian climber went missing and his body was found on Monday. He sustained severe frostbite. Most people die due to altitude sickness because of the weather changes. A lot of climbers were being rescued these past few days while attempting to summit. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world at 8848m. Now tell me why I’d wanna go there? All I wanna do is stand at this distance shown on the above image and take a selfie or a picture. NOTHING ELSE!

A Nigerian building collapsed and 4 people were killed, with 19 injured in Lagos. The building was still under construction. The state government has sealed off the building until the building constructor provides evidence of building approval. A couple of weeks ago, another building also collapsed in Lagos, claiming 2 lives. Something has got to give Naija….let’s do something.

In Springs, South Africa, a 42year old man was arrested for human trafficking. The man’s house was raided by the police after they got a tip off. They found young girls between the ages of 14 and 19. When asked what the girls were doing there, he had no answers. The sad part is that this man is a repeat offender. He currently has a pending case of kidnapping and rape. This is what happens when you give freedom to people who don’t deserve it. This is why I am against such offenders getting bail let alone being released because they never change. Rapists, Child Molesters, Murderers they should just rot in jail. Lock them in and throw away the key. The most disturbing twist to this story is that a 17year old girl has been linked to this and is said to be the one that’s been recruiting these young girls. I did say this is disturbing.

Air Zimbabwe has been banned by the European Commission and will no longer be flying to Europe due to safety concerns. Air Zim is mostly used by Zim President Robert Mugabe for his overseas trips. So what does this mean now? If it’s considered unsafe, is it safe for him to still use to travel to other countries besides Europe? Other airlines that were also blacklisted are from Angola, Nigeria, St Vincent and Ukraine.

If you are going through a bitter divorce and you think your world is ending, trust me you have nothing on Steve Harvey. His second wife, Mary Harvey is suing him for murdering her soul. She wants $60million for all her troubles. She says she’s been suicidal and she self-meditates to cope with their break up. She’s suing Steve for child endangerment, torture, conspiracy against rights, kidnapping, murder, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. WOW!! This woman is not playing. I am all for women power and I encourage women not to allow men to use them and toss them aside whenever they are done, so if you can sue, sue…. BUT don’t ever use your children to fight your battles. If you really want your child back in your life, what is $60m for? Let’s stick to the murder of the soul and leave everything to do with the child out of this because usually when such large sums of money are demanded, it has nothing to do with the children and everything to do with revenge.
