McDonald’s celebrates three decades in South Africa with a chicken fold over campaign featuring two global talent, Bonang Matheba and Nomzamo Mbatha with a tagline if you know you know. what a brilliant way to collaborate with the country’s favorites reflecting the foldover reputation amongst fans. As the restaurant remains committed to providing menu choices that are relevant, convenient ,and all delicious.

We can imagine the weight that comes with such a big responsiblity to curate and manage such a beautiful campaign from beginning to the end. McDonald’s South Africa entrusted Duma collective a creative agency founded by Sibu Mabena to curate and manage their new chicken fold over campaign.

Sibu Mabena said on her social media ” I love a good challenge when a client gives us what seems like an impossible brief but God says do you part and I’ll do mine and then it all come together.

The campaign became a beautiful surprise to fans as there’s always been speculations that Bonang and Nomzamo don’t get along. We love seeing women come together, work and create such a memorable advert.

The campaign introduces fresh ways for fans to enjoy the foldover. Campaign highlights includes exclusive deals on the McDonald’s app , the chance to win all-expenses paid trip to Greece and Samsung Galaxy Z fold 7 amongst other prizes, and fun features that celebrates the foldover as the insider’s choice for flavour, enjoyment and connection.
