AFRICA: And The BET Nominees Are….

It’s that time of the year when most African artists’ plans revolve around the BET Awards. This year’s nominees were announced earlier today (15th May) in Johannesburg South Africa at the same time as the USA was making the announcement.

In Alphabetical order, here are the BET Awards 2017 Nominees for Best International Act: AFRICA

AKA from South Africa is nominated again this year.

The only Queen among the Kings in this category, South Africa’s Babes Wodumo.

I have lost count of his BET Nominations. I think Nigeria’s Davido gets nominated every year just South Africa’s AKA.

Another Naija representative – Mr Eazi

Am I ever gonna quit??? HELL NAW…..that’s South Africa’s Nasty C.  He is always surrounded by negativity whenever it comes to awards. Word on the street is that his record label or is it management, ‘buys’ the awards in South Africa. We have no idea how far true that is. But our truth is that he is a very talented young man. It will be interesting to see what will be said if he wins this BET award.

Ghana’s Stonebwoy will also be representing his people again this year.

Eva….Eva….baby….Eva….Eva y favorite right now because of his Pana song. Yes, Nigeria’s Tekno is also nominated.

Another one I feel is ‘always’ nominated is Naija’s Wizkid. This is another talented young man.

This is it Africa. These are the artists that will be representing us at the BET Awards this year.

The BET Awards will take place in Los Angeles, California on the 25th June 2017.
