Thank you Ford and Sefapane Lodges & Safaris for my Birthday Treat!

This year I decided to celebrate my birthday in the beautiful Limpopo Province all thanks to Ford South Africa and Sefapane Lodges & Safaris. It was a great getaway for me and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Limpopo is such a beautiful province, and I was so ready for that road trip. We left on a Friday and the drive was just amazing.

The mountain views were beautiful, the sharp curves were scary but as long as you’re driving a Ford Everest you know nothing can stop you. You just cruise!!

We were staying at the most amazing place called Sefapane Lodges and Safaris which is just a kilometre from the Kruger National Park. We were welcomed with open arms by the friendly staff.

I am addicted to nature, so when we drove in and I felt like I was in the middle of the jungle that’s when I knew I was going have a peaceful sleep. Yes, it has that bush feel that can trigger nervousness especially if you look, walk or sit outside your room in the dark. But then you remember, I am not exactly in the bush, I am safe here. Hehehe

I did have a peaceful sleep for sure. Loved how comfortable the bed was. I also enjoyed  the shower. My shower sessions were therapeutic. I didn’t want to stop showering.

The next day, on my birthday we were out from 6:30am for a full day Safari experience. What a WOW! Our ranger Bro Elias was such a sweet soul. He was patient with us, answered all our questions, spotted the animals for us, it was a cool ride.

Lol, and of course we took some pics. I mean what’s the point of going to a place if you’re not going to capture the moments?

My love for green and the bush.

Went back to the Lodge to freshen up and then had dinner. I was exhausted from the long day so it was an early night for me. Hahaha, I am boring like that.

I love Sefapane Lodges. Their food is mostly traditional which makes it even more yummy because it’s not what one eats at home on a regular basis.  The service there is top notch. So if ever you decide to visit Limpopo and you need a private and quiet place to stay or hangout, Sefapane is perfect.

My Ford Everest was safe too. Perfect parking spot for it for the weekend right in front of my Lodge. I was at home.

I told y’all about the mountain views right? LOOK!

And of course that drive back to Joburg. The navigation system in a Ford Everest is every driver’s dream. Love it!

Thank you so much Ford South Africa & Sefapane Lodges for making my birthday weekend very special and memorable. I will sure be heading back to Limpopo for more of that #SefapaneMagic. Oh, and they have free wifi too. Their restaurant is also open to the public so you don’t have to be booked there to enjoy the buffet. 🙂
