Such a pity I can’s swim. *sigh*
So last Sunday I was registered to run 5km at the Adrienne Hersch Challenge neh and my running partner overslept *side eyes Kiki*. I ran next to the “Mnandi Bus” some ladies from Soweto I think. Its always fun racing with them, we sing throughout the race. I got carried away, missed my turn to the finish line and found myself on the 10k route. I asked one of the marshalls kanti where/when am I supposed to turn phela I have beeeeen running, ke fihla neng mo keyang athi? Yazi Kiki had you showed up I swear I would not have missed the 5k route road markings, sadly I had to keep going and no short cuts. When I got to the finish line I asked for 2 medals, one per 5km I ran. @Kiki o mpolaile shem, I ran your 5km as well. Thank you for the VIP experience I had fun nonetheless, looking forward to more invites in the future. #ThrowBackThursday

Like I said, i ran alongside the “Mnandi Bus” ladies, got carried away and that’s how much fun I had. I was with the ladies at the Totalsport Women’s Race last month. The vip experience made it up besides, one is never alone at a race.
