There are floods everywhere! I am never emotionally prepared to see people, houses, animals being swept away like it’s nothing. It’s traumatizing. I’ve been depressed every day from watching News channels and reading about the natural disasters that have claimed the lives of many people, leaving others homeless.
A few weeks ago Sierra Leone experienced a lot of rain which later on turned disastrous. According to news reports, the mudslide in Sierra Leone killed between 800 – 1000 people. Most residents in Freetown the capital city of Sierra Leone were left wounded with no places to stay. One of the survivors that was out at an all-night prayer when the mudslide hit said he lost 13 family members to the disaster. Gosh! Almost 7,000 people were displaced, and the government has since promised to permanently relocate all those who live in communities that are vulnerable to natural disaster. 2 years ago the same thing happened, the government made the same promises but never fulfilled them which makes it understandable why some people from Sierra Leone are upset and not believing what the government is promising.
The Americans have also been going through the most. Hurricane Harvey invaded Houston, Texas causing a lot of damage. In some places, houses were buried under water. According to reports, Harvey killed 47 people and it is said to be the worst Hurricane after 2005’s Katrina. With that said, there is another Hurricane that is being watched with a close eye at the moment and could be a huge threat to the USA (Chicago). The hurricane is called Irma. I still fail to understand how they come up with these names.
It seems every continent is currently affected by floods. Countries in South Asia are not an exception. Bangladesh, India and Nepal being the most affected. To be honest, a lot keeps happening in India causing massive destruction. They say flooding during the monsoon season normally happens between June and September, but this year’s floods have been worse. The floods have killed more than 170 people. About 200,000 people are living in emergency camps. Imagine that? 200 000??
Nigeria’s south-eastern Benue state, also experienced this horrible natural disaster which forced more than 100 000 people to flee their homes due to heavy rains that lasted 2 weeks, resulting in flooding. For years, Benue has continued to experience repeated floods. About 5years ago, Nigeria suffered disastrous floods which affected 30 of its 36 states. A lot of people died, and some were left homeless and they had to start afresh to rebuild. This year, it’s back to square one.
Looking at all these countries experiencing these floods, it’s not the first time nor the last. It makes one wonder how much the government is doing to prevent its people from going through this every time.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari did express his concern on the disaster via Twitter and ensured people that those affected will be assisted. I am one of those that think Buhari doesn’t really care about anyone hey. Nigerians are always complaining about him not being in the country as much as he is supposed to be. Last month most of them took to the streets demanding that he returns to his job or resign. At some point he was absent for almost 3 months. It was reported that he had gone overseas to seek treatment for an undisclosed illness. He got back and soon left again. Lol
I laughed when I saw this tweet. I mean how long can you be away from office for the rats to go as far as destroying it that you can’t even work? If the rats really cleaned it out, I don’t think they did it in one night. Even when the President was away, where were the cleaners and the maintenance people? Do they also take leave when he goes away? I am finished!
Kenya’s Supreme Court has made a decision to annul the results of last month’s presidential election. President Uhuru Kenyatta, who won the August election by 54% and was reelected for the 2nd term had reportedly said he’d respect and accept the decision made by the judges but after the Supreme Court declared the August election results invalid, null and void, he wasn’t happy and started condemning the judges. The court said the new election must be held within two months. Now we wait to see who will win between Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga. We just hope the violence would stop.
In South Africa, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is experiencing his own hurricane. A Sunday newspaper reported that he is having extra marital affairs with several women and that he uses his wealth to prey on women. He has denied these allegations but admitted that he did have an affair 8 years which he confessed to his wife then and they have dealt with it. His wife has expressed shock and anger over the allegations and has made it known that she stands by her husband. Ramaphosa says he financially supports a lot students (male and female) and his wife is very much aware of that. It’s said that some of the women that he has been linked to are the students that he’s been supporting financially. It is believed that these reports are part of a campaign to discredit him and prevent him from taking over from Mr. Jacob Zuma as ANC president which could lead him to become the president of South Africa. POLITICS!!! I don’t know how people survive in that world. You don’t need to get wet to experience those floods. You just swim through, as dry as you are but can still drown. Sigh!

Sibongile Mani is still trending everywhere and she has made international headlines. Sibongile is a Walter Sisilu University student in South Africa who became a millionaire after the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) accidentally deposited R14 Million instead of R1400 into her account. Sibongile definitely knew there was an error but like any other person or should I say most people would do, she went on a spending spree hoping to get away with it. She ended up spending R818 000 within 3 months. Unfortunately she got busted eventually and she has been told to pay back the money. She is currently seeking legal advice on the matter. I don’t understand why the blame is only put on her. Something doesn’t add up. I also suspect that one of her people snitched on her and sold her out or maybe it’s those that were jealous of her millions. It’s always the case. They will hate you from the outside and try find a way to stop you from flourishing. LMAO! The number one rule is; KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT, that way they won’t know what to attack. Number 2 rule; TRUST NOBODY. I am not condoning what she did, I am just stating facts. This world is already corrupt.
Congratulations are in order for the number one Tennis star, Serena Williams and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian, they welcomed a baby girl a few days ago. I am still traumatized by some of the pictures from that photo shoot of hers that broke the internet. Yeah, I am shem! I know a lot of people were applauding only because it’s Serena. Had it been poor Kiki from down the street posting the same pics on social media she’d have been called all sorts of names and her accounts were going to be reported as spam. I’m just saying!
Reality star Kenya Moore’s marriage is still being questioned. Kenya surprised everyone in June when she secretly married Marc Daly. Some people have labelled the marriage as fake and a publicity stunt because…well, it’s Kenya Moore. Her RHOA co-stars Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield are reported to be the ring leaders of the team that is looking for Kenya Moore’s marriage certificate. Kenya took to Twitter to finally address this situation: “It never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to discredit you, spread propaganda, boldface lies and publish entire articles based on an ‘anonymous’ or unknown source. My marriage and my life will not be made a mockery of. I ignored this empty rhetoric in the past…No more. Enough is enough. I’m fighting back. Be warned, I’m coming for you and we all know how this will end for you. I always have the last laugh. #lawsuit #receipts #reallove #DontF**kWithMyFamily,” she wrote
I am here for Kenya shem. I hope she posts her marriage certificate and kill people’s story-lines. I just have a soft spot for her and most importantly because she doesn’t lick anyone’s ass. I love and support anyone that can stand up to Nene Leakes and tell her where to get off because in my eyes Nene is a bully of note. Sheree needs to heal after that Bob abuse situation and stop being Pinocchio. She must focus on herself instead of diverting her anger to other people. I have no words for Kim. Ducks do what they are good at – QUACK!
The other day I came across this picture on Twitter. It looks like a card alright. I don’t know if this is real or someone was just playing tricks on us. If it’s real, I’d like to know what this Prophet Bushiri Money Card is for and how does it work? I am not here to judge or interrogate anyone shem, I just need to be schooled that’s all. How does this card work?
I also came across this as well. Apparently this Lion of Judah soap by Prophet Bushiri , with different flavors might I add, washes your sins away. Is it free or it’s for sale? I have so many questions but people are gonna twist my words and I end up not going to heaven so let me shut it up. On second thoughts, I wanna know….ok I am done!
That’s it from our news desk!

Even bf he was sick they used to make fun of him that he’s the absent president(eish English) let me staaap writing
I was a bit sad and emotional reading this article until I got to Buhari. It became a comedy from there on. Lol, thank you Kiki.
Bathong! That Bushiri card??? We need answers. I’m curious right now. People actually believe so much in this man that they go to this extreme? Shocked
Kiki you sound like you’re part of the RHOA cast. You say Kim and Sheree must what??? LMAO.
I’m looking at these floods and I think of what SA’s gone through. I can’t help but be thankful because what these other countries experience is 12x worse than us. Yes we feel it when it happens to us but this is just way too much. To think it happens to them non stop? Gosh!
its so sad things are happening in this world sham, praying for those affected and hoping these hurricanes stop.
as for Bushiri and his congregants, i will keep quite as i have a looooot to say, i don’t want to be labelled someone who judges without full info,,those in the know enlighten us please.
We need to ask miss Orgella about Bushiri related matters. She must explain this.
