The 7th annual White Star Celebrity Cookoff competition took place this past weekend at The Ridge Casino, Emalahleni. As always, we packed our bags and made our way there for the experience.
5 Teams of celebrities battled against each other to see who owns the kitchen and has the best cooking skills. The teams had to prepare 2 dishes (starter and a main course). Both dishes had to include the main ingredient of course, White Star maize meal.

Model, Leeyah Rakgaba also attended the White Star Celebrity Cookoff this year. Leeyah is the mother of the lil boy called Lelo Kingston Mofokeng who wrote a book about bullying titled ‘How I Survived Bullying’. If you are a parent figure, please get that book for your kids. They need to read it.

Team The Queen’s Gift were the runners up at this year’s White Star Celebrity Cookoff competition.
The big winners were Team Pap Capture. They won R50 000.
