Jermaine Lamarr Cole, from mixtapes to being one of the first rappers signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label to having going platinum multiple times, J Cole is one of the most talented artists of this generation. His gift for poetic lyrics and beats was demonstrated on his 2014 album ‘Forest Hills Drives’ which went double platinum without any features. The statue of his artistry has been recognized by many but most notable by former U.S president, Barack Obama.
Castle Lite also unlocked Nigerian hitmakers DAVIDO and WIZKID as part of this epic Extra Cold experience through a cool graffiti reveal. J Cole is changing the rap game and influencing the daily lives of fans with personal yet relatable lyrics. So who better than Davido and Wizkid to share the stage with with him? Not only has Davido built an enviable music career with multiple hit singles, awards, and endorsements including earning a music degree, his drive for success has led him to start his own label and continue to push his music to new heights. Similarly, Star Boy has cemented his international status successfully as well. The collaboration with Drake on the hit single “One Dance”, catapulted his career even further. These artists are certainly pushing boundaries for musicians in the world at large.
