It’s been an action packed long journey these past months in South Africa with the ruling party (ANC) having to elect its new President.
The race was between South Africa’s Vice President Cyril Ramaphosa and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma who happens to be the former Minister of Health and also former Minister of Home Affairs. The results of the new ANC President were announced late yesterday including the new ANC Top six.
Here is ANC’s Top Six:
ANC – President is Cyril Ramaphosa with 2440 votes.
ANC – Deputy President is David Mabuza with 2538 votes.
ANC – National Chairperson is Gwede Mantashe with 2418 votes.
ANC – Treasurer General is Paul Mashatile with 2517 votes.
ANC – Secretary General is Ace Magashule with 2360 votes.
ANC – Deputy Secretary General is Jessie Duarte with 2474 votes.
What an interesting Top Six. It looks like 4 vs 2??? Mmmmh, let’s see how things go from here on. #ANC54
