African Artists Shine at The ONE Africa Music Festival in London!

It was a total shutdown last night at Wembely Stadium in London where the ONE Africa Music Festival took place. African artists showed UP and showed OFF and left the crowd wanting more.

Africans love to dance, they love music and they make sure that they make time to have fun whenever it presents itself. It was a hella of treat for those in London on Saturday.

The line-up says it all.

Tanzania’s Ali Kiba on stage

Ali also performed with Nigeria’s M.I

South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest set the stage on fire with his hip hop jams.

He also had moments with other stars…..that’s Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. Not sure why he doesn’t look impressed. Maybe he was tired from all the dancing. Mmmhh

International Actress, South Africa’s Terry Pheto was also there to support her fellow countryman. It was Terry’s birthday weekend and she celebrated it by adding an African concert to it. Nice!

Naija’s Davido sweating it off

He surely had a good one

He also had backstage moments with his fellowman, Tekno.

Eugy Official, represented Ghana with style.

Flavour also set the stage alight.

The Brothers…….

The African King and Queen of music. Naija was well represented. Flavour chatting to Tiwa Savage. Just wonder what this conversation was about; “OK, I am going on stage now and I am gonna kill it. You know that right?

Naija’s Banky W also did his thing.

Also from Naija, it’s American born – Nyra

We’ve said it, Naija was indeed represented. Here is Praiz

And PSquare

And Tekno

Ghana in the building – Sarkodie

The QUEEN….Tiwa Savage

Killing it

Another African Queen, Kenya’s Victoria Kimani

It was lit

She’s such a hottie.

The crowd couldn’t get enough of the performances. FLAMES!!

The brothers……

Jidenna was scheduled to perform but unfortunately things went left and he didn’t get a chance to perform. According to what he said, the show was cut off because the time was up. Can you imagine rehearsing and preparing for months and then you get told you can’t perform? Either the show started late or the artists that performed before him didn’t stick to their time and went over. Shame!

He said; ‘If we truly believe this is our time as Africans, then we have to be on time.’
